How does Remote-Assist work?

On the Support PC you download and run Remote-Control, enter your account number and admin password and click the 'Connect' button. This connects the support PC to one the Remote-Assist Secure Access Servers.

The Client PC user goes here and enters your account number and client password and clicks the 'Download' button. They save and run Remote-Assist Express which polls the Remote-Assist Secure Access Servers until it finds the one the support PC is connected to.

An encrypted connection is established between the support PC and the remote PC via the Secure Access Server which act as a "Common meeting point".  

A window should appear on the support PC prompting the user to accept a connection from the remote PC - The support PC then has full control of the remote PC.

* Both PC's need to be able to route traffic directly to the Remote Access Servers to function correctly. Any restriction to outbound traffic may prevent the Remote-Assist software from functioning.
